Coming from Belgium, the duo d’Irque and Fien happily mixes the art of circus and music with on one side Dirk, a circus performer who attended the international circus school of Montreal and the pianist Fien.

In the tradition of street theater and aerial circus, this company offers breathtaking shows both in terms of its dexterity and its poetic force, highlights the Anse cultural service on its website. Sol Bémol is their latest show, with the figure of the couple in the center. A couple looking for each other, getting lost, finding themselves again, hoping to play together the score of a life together with music sometimes close to that of silent cinema. A couple in search of balance, unstable, breathtaking”.

A show for everyone

In the show Sol bémolthe company of Irque and Fien therefore mixes acrobatics and music with “a raw universe made of wood, strings, canvas and above all four old upright pianos, also flitting between laughter and balancing acts”comments on Anse cultural servicefor whom this show is at times reminiscent of the world of Charlie Chaplin.

Ce hybrid show is to be discovered with the family on Friday January 24 at 8 p.m., from 6 years old. Tickets are available from the Infothèque, rue du 3 September opposite the town hall in Anse or online.
