In Ploemeur, two events around the history of the violin and an Irish concert

Frédéric Samzun (violin) and Laurent Guillouzic (guitar) organize the musical conference “Marc Amelot (1785-1866), story of a luthier in Lorient in the 19th century” by Frédéric Samzun, Thursday January 23, 2025, at 6 p.m., in Ploemeur. The two artists will be present to guide this exhibition and will close it with music “to the sound of the strings, in the luthier’s workshop” in the company of guest musicians.

The event is scheduled for January 25 and 29, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., January 18 and 22 and February 1, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

An Irish music concert will also take place on Saturday, February 1, at 5 p.m.
