Chelsea have reportedly set their sights on Ousmane Diomande to strengthen their defensive sector during this winter transfer window.
According to Caughtoffsidethe Blues are ready to invest up to 80 million euros to attract the young Ivorian defender from Sporting Club Portugal.
Strong competition for young talent
Ousmane Diomande, 21, is under contract until June 2027 with Sporting and has a release clause of 80 million euros. Former favorite of Amorim, from the time when the Portuguese coached Sporting, the latter is followed by Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Munich. This season, he has played 25 matches in all competitions and would be a priority for Chelsea, who are reportedly considering an initial offer of 50 million euros to begin negotiations.
