A showcase of the Swiss seventh art, the Solothurn Film Festival awards an Honorary Prize each year to “a Swiss personality who has distinguished himself by his commitment to cinematographic culture (…) for his work often accomplished in the shadows”. Presented this year to Corinna Glaus, it rewards the woman who has “largely contributed to giving a face to Swiss cinema” and worked for the recognition of a profession that is little established here, where casting directors can be counted on the fingers of one hand. . “It’s a little-known profession that everyone thinks they’re capable of doing,” smiles the winner.
