Thursday January 16, Ludivine and Marie, the facilitators of the Rollin foundation, invited the residents of Charmettes, des Amandiers and la Clairière to meet in the dining room to attend an activity proposed by Mélodie en Sol, the choir from the Porte des Cévennes club. The opportunity to exchange wishes for a happy new year and good health.

Under the direction of Marie-Claude Ferreli, around twenty choristers performed French variety hits which brought back many memories to the oldest who did not hesitate to add their voices to the singers.

The afternoon began with a song by Yannick Noah, a beautiful invitation to appreciate the few moments of happiness that life offers. A trip to Italy and the Caribbean brought a bit of dream while other melodies like Besides by Maxime le Forestier or The river of my childhood were more nostalgic. Full of humor, the song Mirza by Nino Ferrer or The Belleville barber by Reggiani offered a beautiful moment of joy. In total, the singers performed fourteen songs, a special moment for the residents who then shared snacks with the choristers.
