The Terrasson-Lavilledieu cultural center continues its dynamic with, until next June, a second part of the season full of events. This programming is based on solid partnerships with local associations, educational establishments, and cultural actors in the region.
Since its launch in September 2024, the cultural season has been a great success. The opening, marked by activities in different neighborhoods and the show “Les Petits-Fils de Janine”, brought together a large and diverse audience. A series of shows and residency outings helped to retain regulars while attracting new spectators, proof of the growing interest in these initiatives.

The second part of the season relies on strengthened partnerships, in particular with the Terrasson primary school, the Dordogne Departmental Conservatory, and the Temps Jeunes association.
Among the flagship projects, Empreintes de tourisme will offer workshops on sign language, musical creations and testimonies before a presentation during the highlight From one shore to the other, on May 24 and 25. “This family weekend promises to explore different neighborhoods of the town to offer artistic offerings accessible to all,” specifies Julie André, the coordinator of cultural action for the municipality.
-The next meeting is set for Wednesday January 22 with “Sha Doizo”, a puppet show accessible from 1 year old. This theater of objects with a jazz background tells the adventures of an endearing character, embodied only by a hand. Two performances will take place at 10 and 11 a.m. at the cultural center, located rue Marcel-Michel. As the number of places is limited, it is advisable to book at 05 53 50 13 80.
