“La Meilleure Boulangerie de ”, broadcast from Monday to Friday at 6:35 p.m. on M6, began its twelfth season with a new tasty journey across France. And for the start of 2025, the exceptional jury, made up of Bruno Cormerais, Noëmie Honiat and Michel Sarran, is stopping off in Arthez-de-Béarn, in Pierre Darnaudéry’s A Noste bakery.

“We were contacted in August 2024,” explains the young local baker, “then selected in mid-September and filming took place on October 2. »

Those responsible for the show add: “Each stage is an opportunity to highlight artisanal excellence, from bakery creations to refined pastries, including exceptional pastries and innovative snacking options.” The selection is therefore demanding: you have to make all the products, of good quality, 100% in-house. “We have to show ‘white paste’,” laughs Pierre Darnaudéry. »

After proposing the products that the artisan wanted to present to the jury, the latter comes to visit the store, tastes two products that they want and is presented with the “favorite product”. “We therefore created a new product especially for the show,” explains the baker, “as well as a new bread. »

Adapt and create

Finally, the competition continues with the jury’s challenge: you must accompany a given dish with bread or a product from the region, or create a product with it. This ultimate test constitutes a true test of adaptability and creativity.

Around Pierre Darnaudéry and Sarah Trouilh, the A Noste bakery team is made up of Géraldine Palmerie, Shelly Desmeurs, Christian Larran, Louis Digue, Hocine Redjama, Jessica Santos Teixeira (apprentice) and Cécile Moinot.

“The appearance on a national television channel at prime time can only highlight Arthézian commercial vitality by offering superb visibility to our village,” rejoices Arthézien consumers who will be watching this Tuesday, January 21 at 6 p.m. 35 on M6 “The best bakery in France”.
