Until January 25, no less than 150 works can be discovered: oils, acrylics, engravings, photos, sculptures, contemporary furniture from the 20th century are part of the Ming collection acquired throughout her life by the Parisian Ming Chin.
Following her death, she bequeathed her collection to her nephew Gilles Blum who in turn transmitted part of his collection to the Béganne Collection Ming association.
“We bring this very eclectic collection to life by organizing various exhibitions. This makes art accessible to everyone”confides Gérard Hocquet, one of the administrators of the collective.
Every summer, the collection can be discovered at the Salle des Arts de Béganne, located rue du Chemin-Creux.
-In this new year, red is available in all its forms. Around forty works by well-known artists, such as Di Martino, Christophe Maillard, Claudia Tennant, Philippe Starck, rub shoulders with equally astonishing works by complete strangers noticed and appreciated by Ming Chin’s favorites, who enrich his collection.
“Please note that we are still in the research phase, in order to put a name at the bottom of certain paintings and sculptures”explains Gérard Hocquet.
