Announced almost a year ago by the Akata editions (read the news), the French release of the manga 10 Billion Days and 100 Billion Nights of the immense Moto Hagiois now fast approaching!
Indeed, the single volume of 512 pages will be released on February 13 at the price of 19,99€ under the French title An infinity of days and nightsin the usual format and graphic charter of the publisher’s Héritages collection. It is translated by Alexandre Goy and formatted by Tomiko Bénézet-Toulze. But that’s not all, since the edition will be equipped with various supplements: 32 color pages, 5 afterwords by Ryû Mitsuse and Moto Hagio, pages of sketches, an interview with Moto Hagio about SF, and a chronology of publication.
LThe publisher presents this series as a bridge between past (The Clan of Poe) and future (Barbara, between two worlds). This title is the adaptation of a novel by Ryu Mitsuse, was directed by Moto Hagio early in his career, and is the only shonen in his long bibliography, having been initially pre-published in Japan in 1977-1978 in the pages of the Shonen Champion magazine from Akita Shoten Editions for a total of two volumes.
Synopsis :
