Brigitte Macron and Didier Deschamps inaugurated and unveiled the plaque of the Maison des parents in Montpellier. This year, the Blues coach is sponsoring the 36th edition of the operation which runs until February 8.
This structure, renovated and opened on September 1, 2024, can accommodate 10 families of sick children hospitalized at the Montpellier University Hospital. A first in Hérault.
The house cost a little more than a million euros, a budget financed 50% by the yellow pieces operation, via the Foundation of French Hospitals.
This house allows parents to overcome some difficulties and to be present with their child. They can recharge their batteries there in the evening to better face the day that follows. It’s convenient for families who live far from here.
