The French comic strip writer, illustrator and author of books for young people, Pascal Bresson comes to meet Morlaisian readers, Saturday January 18, 2025, at the Maison des Bulles. He will sign his works “Robert Badinter, the just man”, “Disappeared, the Godard affair” and “The Mystery of Henri Pick”, “Robert Badinter, the just man”, the story of the life of a more as emblematic of the Republic, at the House of Bubbles.
Pascal Bresson, from Saint-Malo by adoption, began as a designer before turning to screenwriting. A lover of History and the personalities who have left their mark on him, he makes it a point of honor to value above all the duty of memory. He received the title of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2021.
“Disappeared, the Godard affair”. A documentary comic which looks back on the disappearance at sea, in 1999, of Doctor Godard and his children. After leaving the port of Saint-Malo by sailboat, the boat’s annex was found a few days later without occupants.
-“The Henri Pick Mystery”. A plot which revolves around the discovery by Delphine Despero, an ambitious young editor, of an exceptional manuscript in a small library in Crozon. This novel, supposedly written by Henri Pick, a deceased pizza maker, became an editorial phenomenon and raised many questions. A mysterious encounter between the ordinary and the extraordinary.
