EWhat if, in the space of a few hours, we let go? What if, finally, we gave in to our emotions? This is what Stella Pétille, clown by trade, is offering this Saturday, January 18 (1). For one day, she will try to make you forget your everyday worries and, who knows, help you rediscover your childhood spontaneity. “The session begins with relaxation,” reveals the young woman who took time to find her way.
Documentalist, she worked for a long time in this sector of activity. “My last professional experience was in a large company, in a Defense tower… I then experienced health problems,” says the woman who returned to her region of origin five years ago. There is therefore no question of finding these offices perched in tall buildings close to the gray Parisian sky.
Christelle Boizeau will then opt for theater and will also practice yoga. The clown profession will then creep into his mind. “I applied to join a clown school, Le Samovar in Bagnolet in Île-de-France, and I was selected,” continues the Saintongeaise who learned the basics of this funny profession. She has since distanced herself from the Ile-de-France school. The one who later became Stella Pétille added her personal touch. “I feel really good when I’m on stage, I’m both me and someone else. I forget the notion of time, the stage for me is a space of freedom,” confides this mother of a 3-year-old girl.
“Feel alive”
Now “certified” as a clown, Stella Pétille therefore regularly offers one-day courses. She calls for “the lightness” that is so lacking in our times and invites everyone to enjoy good humor, a beneficial ingredient to get through the winter. “This day is accessible to everyone, as long as they are an adult. We will talk about our flaws, our vulnerability which often becomes a strength. Several workshops (including one on improvisation) will take place in a very benevolent atmosphere,” promises this admirer of Charlie Chaplin, but also of Rowan Atkinson (and his priceless character of Mr Bean).
“To be a clown is to feel alive, in joy. I love sharing. During this day, I suggest coming and discovering the clown and creating a bubble of joy… to carry around everywhere afterwards! » Considering that “everything is serious, but nothing is serious”, Stella Pétille also performs with the company of 4 Elles, a troupe which brings together women artists from the Vals de Saintonge. “This experience, in which sorority is very present, does me a lot of good. » The Saintonge clown also works from time to time in hospitals and other retirement homes.
(1) After Saturday, other courses will take place on Saturdays February 15, March 15, April 12, May 17 and June 21. Information on 06 78 62 07 80.
