PORTRAIT – This lawyer by training, convinced that we are “at a moment of convergence of art, video games and design”, created Danae in 2021, a digital art platform.
She welcomes us to the premises where she has established Danae’s headquarters, behind a heavy carriage entrance, at the very back of a pretty paved courtyard, in the heart of 1is Parisian district. The bright place resembles a large loft and serves as an office and art gallery. The works, all contemporary, are installed in a corner or hung on the walls. The place is in its image, elegant, warm and full of values, commitment and meaning.
Rachel Chicheportiche smiles shyly to take part in the photo shoot, essential for the purposes of this interview. Her hair and makeup are impeccably done, and her look speaks of a woman with confident and even sophisticated tastes. « It’s his trademark »whisper those who know her. However, Danae’s director is not comfortable with this exercise. Discreet, she is less accustomed to talking about herself than to highlighting the artists represented in this rather special art gallery…
