In his black leather jacket, he was recognizable among thousands. Bertrand Blot left us suddenly after a heart attack on the morning of Saturday January 4, 2025. He was 67 years old.

The journalist’s relay

For several years, Bertrand Blot was my relay in the sector of Andelys (Your) to disseminate information in the columns of L’Impartial.

Meals, parties of all kinds, general meetings, cultural events, he was at all the events and nothing escaped his discerning eye, always ready to feed the “Entre 4 z’yeux” section, feared by some but very appreciated by readers.

Thanks to his chat and his humor, Bertrand went over well with the people he spoke to, no matter how different they were.

Guitarist and singer

Bertrand was an artist at heart, a guitarist, a singer, loving to play with words, it was natural that he joined the ranks of the association “Soyons à la page” chaired by Michèle Hurdequint, who left us in 2023.

A nature lover

But he was also a lover of nature and animals. In 2013, he notably participated in the rescue of a kestrel.

According to his last wishes, the donations will be donated to the Bird Protection League (LPO) andAssociation for the Protection of Wild Animals (QUOTATION MARKS).

“Bertrand, you were an outstanding correspondent. » A final tribute will be paid to him Tuesday January 14, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the Andelys crematorium.

To her friend, her son and her loved ones, the editorial staff of Impartial sends its deepest condolences.
