Gloria Da Queija returns to class with her show “Cartable”
Performed for the first time in February 2018, “Cartable” has since traveled throughout France. After two years of absence, the play returns to the Théâtre des Beaux-Arts for an eighth series. This one-on-one by Gloria Da Queija, co-written and directed by Vincent Toujas, immerses the viewer in the daily life of a CE1 class for a year. In a minimal setting, reduced to a simple chair, carried by a very cinematic rhythm and staging, the chameleon actress brilliantly embodies all the characters of this school epic (teacher, parents, colleagues, students).
