At 53, this suckler cow breeder lives with his mother, whom he takes care of on the family farm following the death of his dad, who died of Covid.

“Today it’s just mom and me. The house is big enough, there are 7-8 rooms. It’s empty.”explains Jean-Louis in his portrait. His three brothers and sisters being busy with their family life, it is he who stays with Lucette, 78 years old. But nothing to bother the farmer, since four generations lived under the same roof. “There were 10 of us almost every day”Lucette tells Karine Le Marchand, very attentive in the middle of a kitchen still in its juices. Lucette then cannot help but shed a few tears while remembering her happy memories with her late husband. Fortunately, the host quickly makes him smile again by pointing out his language quirk. The latter reveals that he already experienced love around the age of 25 before cheating on his sweetheart and breaking up with her.
