Launched in 2000, the prize which symbolizes contemporary creation in once again highlights the international diversity of its actors.

With this 25e edition, the Duchamp Prize reached the fateful figure of 100 artists selected – and even exceeded it since, in certain years, the finalists were 5 and not 4. Presented like last year at the Artcurial headquarters, under the direction of Claude Bonnin, it is a strictly equal anthology that the jury of 11 collectors from ADIAF, the Association for the International Diffusion of French (Claude Bonnin, its president, Akemi Shihara, Philippe Castillo, Béatrice Charon, Véronique Clavière-Schiele, Patricia Guérin, Hervé Halgand, Deborah Ittah, Brigitte Saby, Jean-Michel Vergès, Duan Zhang de Courrèges). If the winner will be announced as usual in the fall, on October 23, on the eve of Art Basel , the scheduled closure of the Center Pompidou on this date raised the question of the traditional collective exhibition.
