New photo exhibition at the Gallery

Every quarter, the collective of amateur photographers Regards et Lumières

offers a photographic exhibition where each member presents seven photos, on one or more themes. A new exhibition was installed on Monday in the collective’s premises located in the Galerie d’Intermarché, in Lucé. It is visible until March 15.

These photos will take the visitor on a journey, since they will be able to discover images of Savoy captured by Roger Lasbareilles; of Iceland seen by Guy Nivois; Loir-et-Cher, Morbihan, Alpes-Maritimes, Finistère, Haute- and by Éliane Letertre; photos with mosaic aspects created by Georges Herrera; sets of digital images composed by Alain Haudry; Corrèze seen by Michel ; the coasts of the Channel and the Atlantic captured by Sandrine Labarraque; or the Navajo reservation in Arizona (USA) captured by André Petitdemange.

“A moment to dream”

“It’s a moment to dream in front of the images that we offer, because if photography is a universe of creativity, it is also the ideal tool to exercise our gaze, discover the details that matter, and observe in a new way the world that is ours, underlines Guy Nivois, one of the exhibitors. It is the privilege of the photographer to be able to observe and remember what surrounds him and stop time, even with a smartphone.”

The exhibition is made up of eight totems (billboards), one for each photographer, who freely presents their photos. These photographers take turns to be present every day and explain their creations to visitors.

The Regards et Lumières collective is made up of photographers Georges Herrera, Éliane Letertre, Roger Lasbareilles, Guy Nivois, Sandrine Labarraque, André Petitdemange, Alain Haudry and Michel Laval.

Practical.Photo exhibition by the “Regards et Lumières” collective at the Galerie Intermarché in Lucé (opposite the Intersport outlet store), open every day, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Free entry.
