With nearly 400,000 visits in 2024, the three museums in the Lausanne Plateforme 10 arts district recorded a new attendance record. The venue welcomed 271,000 people during its inaugural year in 2022 and 353,000 in 2023.

In detail of the three museums on the site, the Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts (MCBA) accumulated 222,000 visits during its twelve exhibitions in 2024. Photo Elysée counted 94,000 in seventeen exhibitions. Ultimately, the seven mudac exhibitions attracted 77,000 visitors.

In its press release published Friday, Plateforme 10 also gives the figures for school visits: 15,648 for the MCBA, 4999 for the mudac and 3674 for Photo Elysée. Plateforme 10 recalls that the year 2024 started “with a bang” with the great popular success of the exhibition on the origins of immersive art at the MCBA.
