THE FINE ARTS MUSEUM AT THE HOME FOR ALL OF PENHARS: FEST
18 reproductions of works of art illustrate the festival in Finistère: unmissable Breton dance to the sound of traditional music embodied by couples of ringers. These joyful gatherings give pride of place to costumes on the occasion of pardons, weddings, a market or a parade. These paintings, covering the beginning of the 19th century until the 1940s, come from the section of Breton inspiration of the museum and show a stylistic evolution from realism to modernity. This display is carried out as part of the Fest’Deiz Cabaret of the Quimper music and theater conservatory, scheduled at the MPT on Sunday February 2 afternoon.
