Pucci will arrive in the spring in Portofino, a very chic destination on the Italian Riviera in Liguria, to unveil his new collection. At the helm of style since September 2021, Camille Miceli continues her tour of Italy by announcing a fashion show on April 4 in one of the legendary places of the jet-set of the 1960s and 1970s. “Bright, casual and expressing the sweet life Mediterranean”, the place is perfectly in line with the spirit and history of the house, underlines the latter.
The theme of the show will be “Marmo”, the house’s signature wavy pattern, recognizable by its psychedelic style. Inspired by the colorful veins of marble, it was created in 1968 by founder Emilio Pucci and was the first of his famous prints to be brought back into the spotlight by Camille Miceli.
No details have been revealed about the exact location of the parade. But this new stage confirms the strategy put in place by Pucci with traveling presentations of collections put on sale immediately, according to a format see now, buy now. After a first “experiential” presentation in Capri, Camille Miceli settled in the Swiss ski resort of Saint-Moritz, to deliver her second collection.
Its first fashion show was organized only subsequently, in May 2023 on the banks of the Arno in Florence, stronghold of the label owned by LVMH, followed in 2024 by a show in Rome. “By bringing the Marmo show to Portofino, Pucci embraces the glamorous yet relaxed spirit of the seaside resort, with the brand’s heritage bathed in spring sunshine,” the house said in a statement.
