The FoRTE exhibition returns for a 6th edition to the Frac Île-de-France reserves: the region presents the works of the winners of the Regional Fund for Emerging Talents, from November 30, 2024 to February 15, 2025.
Contemporary art lovers meet at the reserves of the Frac Île-de-France, in Romainville, to discover the young talents and great artists of tomorrow. Once again, these creators, aged 18 to 30, are highlighted during the exhibition FoRTE#6organized from November 30, 2024 to February 15, 2025. This free exhibition presents the work of the visual arts winners of the new promotion of the Regional Emerging Talent Fund (FoRTE). This special grant, granted to young French and international artists, was created at the initiative of the Île-de-France region and co-financed by the Ministry of Culture.
Each year, this fund gives around forty artists the means to create their first work in the region, thanks to substantial financial assistance, as well as professional support throughout their creation, for a year. Visual arts, cinema and audiovisual, live performance, music : the field of possibilities is wide, and the works proposed are all more different than each other.
For this sixth edition of the FoRTE exhibition, 10 winners were retained by the jury, out of the hundreds of files sent. These young artists are honored in the free exhibition installed in the FRAC Île-de-France reserves.
The artists to be discovered on the occasion of this exhibition explore the limits of reality and its alternatives, they honor cultural traditions, question our heritage, invent new futuristic utopias or express alarm in the face of worlds that can be created in the virtual… These young creators give birth to languages, revive the songs of endangered birds…
Their creativity and new tools make it possible to invent these new and fascinating works, exhibited this winter in the Frac de Romainville reserves.
Alongside the exhibition, the Frac Île-de-France also offers artistic meetings in connection with the works presented:
