Annabelle and Olivier met while working at Feet on Earth of France Culture, notably produced together some sound creations for the Megacombi of Radio Canut and produced “Mano Solo, punk poet” for the show A whole life from France Culture.
Biographies
Annabelle Brouard
Trained at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Techniques du Théâtre, she explored radio documentary at France Culture and Arte Radio, with creations like Cross the forests et The ghosts of hysteria. For several years, she has led workshops on the transmission of sound writing with Judith Bordas, in Child Welfare structures. In 2022, they compose Sound Escapesa project with young girls in shelters, recounted in the documentary By themselves broadcast on France Culture. For two years, with Clémence Bucher, she has formed the radio duo Mady Mono and Cléo Stéréo, for the Compagnie Basse Fréquence, and create ephemeral radio stations for various places. At the same time, she also pursues personal artistic work around writing and sound composition in the theater. She writes and co-directs with Judith Bordas Runaways, stories of women who wanted to leave. Olivier Minot
As a passionate radioman “Half man, half transistor”, Olivier Minot tinkered with broadcasts on cassettes in his college years then on associative frequencies (Tropiques FM, Radio Néo, Radio Canut, etc.), on private airwaves (Ouï FM, Sun FM) and public service (RFI, France Culture). It was on Radio Canut in Lyon that he led for 10 years, the sparkling MegacombiScam Sound Discovery Prize in 2016. Report for Feet on the Earth (France Culture) since 2008, he has also produced an autobiographical trilogy for Arte Radio, in homage to Daniel Mermet’s legendary show: There if I am there (Wavelength Prize 2014), The revolution will not be podcasted (Prix Italia 2016), and 2017 will not take place. He also produces the press review Hurry! for 4 seasons on Arte Radio and shows combining radio and stage (Radio Bista with singer Reno Bistan or I was already dead in the 80s with Silvain Gire). Today he orchestrates The Radio Show, En Léger Direct on Arte Radio and co-produced the show The micro-nap on Radio Canut.
