This is what we can consider to be the event of this month of January. Didier Piquet, head of the food sector at the Ploufragan Training and Learning Center (CFA), set up a project which began just over a year ago, concerning the creation of a solidarity meal at during the apprentice examination. The completion is for Tuesday, January 14. Encounter.

Le Télégramme: In what context is this project put forward?

Didier Piquet: This concept was possible thanks to the collaboration of Les Bouffons de la cuisine, an association of chefs. The aim is to promote the masterpieces created by apprentices in the Cap service sector as part of their exam.

The meal is also intended to be supportive, can you explain to us?

In addition to highlighting the work of young people, this meal, which is intended to be both gastronomic and supportive, aims to support 55 people in precarious situations living in rural areas and who do not have the means to offer such a gastronomic experience. This meal symbolizes an act of solidarity, it aims to bring a little cheerfulness and break the loneliness.

Who are the guest chefs?

After identifying the 55 guests, the main difficulty was to find four personalities who were available on the same day. Anthony Lavoine (one Michelin star), Mathieu Aumont (one Michelin star), Mathieux Kergoulay (one Michelin star) and Patrick Geffroy (two Michelin stars, president of Bouffons de la cuisine) responded favorably to the invitation. All the products that will make up the menu were offered to us by local suppliers, which also highlights the richness of our region.
