After several months of work, the Alexis Peyret theater is back in action by putting back on display six high-profile shows. Saturday January 10, the South-West symphony orchestra, Osso, conducted by Alain Perpétue, gives a unique New Year’s concert.
Saturday February 1, at 9 p.m., the author and director, Cliff Paillé presents “Paul Gauguin – Vincent Van Gogh”, the craziest colocation in the history of art between two sacred geniuses who are completely opposed. A little masterpiece already selected for the 2025 Avignon Festival.
Sunday March 9, at 5 p.m., “Irish Troubles” is a musical show, which tells the story of Northern Ireland, taking a family story as witness. On the menu, immigration, exile, uprooting and multiculturalism punctuated by traditional Irish songs.
On Friday, March 21, at 8:30 p.m., “Neither shrew, nor tamed,” directed by Paolo Crocco by the Alegría Company, is an adaptation of the Shakespeare classic. These clownish characters, full of unsuspected human qualities, will take an original look at this comedy from the beginning of the 17th century, from the angle of Women and the acceptance of others in the broadest sense of the term. A very funny and lively piece.
Friday March 28 at 9 p.m., Julie Vivona presents “Looking at you, they will get used to it”, a one-off on stage, lively, lively, funny but also touching and sincere where self-deprecation, irony, reflection and poetry punctuate this show.
Singing duo
Saturday April 5, at 9 p.m., a duo of atypical singers and musicians with their intimate knowledge of the world of birds and their songs, whistles a musical show entitled “Perchés”.
Sunday April 13, at 5 p.m., the season ends with “C’est pas du vélo”, a show for young audiences, on the border of storytelling, theater and “the hack” manipulated and projected video.
