The end of year holidays have just been celebrated and now the year 2025 has begun. For this first weekend of the year, several outings are scheduled on the agenda has Toulouse. Here are the five activities not to be missed.
#1. The François Verdier flea market
The year 2025 begins with a little china on the François Verdier aisles. The mythical Allées flea market returns to service from Friday January 3 to Sunday January 5, 2025. Installed from the war memorial to the Grand Rond, the hundred exhibitors will offer their little vintage wonders. Furniture, decoration or unusual objects to come and hunt for from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
#2. Toulouse, Heart of Lights in Saint-Sernin
It is a sound and light show that promises to amaze the public. The Saint-Sernin Basilica will put on a show for several months with Toulouse, Heart of Lights: Saint-Sernin Millénaire. The history of this basilica will be told in a spectacular way. The event, launched on January 2, continues this Saturday January 4, 2025 at 9 p.m. by reservation.
#3. An E-sport tournament at the Pathé Labège cinema
It’s a popular discipline! E-sport takes up residence at the Pathé cinema in Labège for a tournament that should attract gamers. And for this occasion, the 128 participants will compete on Mario Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The group stages will take place first in a dedicated space, while the finals will be followed indoors on a giant screen. See you at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday January 4, 2025.
#4. The Capitol ice rink
With a surface area of 250 m², the Capitole ice rink remains open, despite the end of the Christmas market, to offer fans one last gliding session… Just to end these holidays in style! With friends, family, and even children, everyone is welcome until January 5, 2025. For €5, skaters treat themselves to 45 minutes of gliding from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
#5. Téléo’s escape game
If you’re not a big fan of skiing and prefer to gain height, head to Téléo. The longest urban cable car in France launches its escape game “Les secrets de Téléo” on Sunday January 5, 2025. For two hours, in groups of two to six people, participants set off on an adventure in the cabins, stations and Pech David hill to recover as many clues as possible. A life-size game with three sessions available: 2 p.m., 14h15 et 14h30. Price: from €55.
