Between gourmet walks for good causes, game evenings bringing together all generations, Neighbors Day, Heritage Days, Halloween, the toy dump, and more recently the inauguration of its winning project as part of the Gers Participatory Budget #3, the year 2024 was particularly intense for the Tiest’Animations team. Its other particularity is to celebrate each change of season with joy and good humor, by bringing residents together around a meal carefully prepared by local producers. Spring has thus arrived with couscous and oriental pastries from Mamie Douceurs, to the rhythm of Justine Copin’s dances. Summer, which was very late, was nevertheless celebrated with lots of grilled meats and homemade fries, in the company of the Zalambiqués theater troupe and the singer Nicole Sanarens. Then, it was autumn’s turn to be welcomed by an axoa from the Lou Palancot farm, and the Feu d’Camp group. Finally, winter came to close the year in style with a sold-out crowd around Patricia Lamarque’s famous chicken pot, which brought together nearly 120 people, forcing the organizers to refuse participants despite themselves. Amandine Abadia ensured the atmosphere by playing on her barrel organ well-known tunes taken up in chorus by the audience. “We would like to thank everyone who is loyal to our seasonal meals, as well as the new ones who came from neighboring villages for the first time. We hope to see you all again in 2025!” commented the happy organizers.
