These are long-term marriages, like those of Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott or even Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen, or much shorter ones, like that of Charlotte Casiraghi and Dimitri Rassam, which took END.
Love lasted for over three years for these couples, but eventually broke down and led to a breakup.
It was Lisa Bonet who filed for divorce on January 7, 2024, but it had already been two years since she and Jason Momoa announced their separation. Divorce documents reveal that, in fact, the couple separated in 2020. They met in 2005, at a jazz club, and stayed together for twelve years before getting married in 2017. They have two children: a daughter, Lola, 16 years old, and a son Nakoa-Wolf, 15 years old. Jason Momoa is in a relationship with Puerto Rican actress Adria Arjona, which he made public in May. The divorce of Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa was finalized on July 9 by the Los Angeles court, according to the AP. Lisa Bonnet requested joint custody and is not seeking any alimony.
It was also a marriage that lasted a very long time which fell apart in April. Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen announced their separation on April 5, 2024 after more than twenty years of relationship and twelve years of marriage. The decision, they say, was taken by mutual agreement. “After a long tennis match that lasted more than 20 years, we are putting down our rackets for good,” wrote the two exes in the caption of a photo of the two of them in sportswear. The divorce request, again according to those involved, dates back to 2023. They have three children together.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, who married in 2006, had been separated for some time when she told him she was filing for divorce. And the Beverly Hills actress chose, at least officially, an original way to do it: a live phone call during the launch of her new podcast MisSpelling. “It should have ended much sooner,” said Tori Spelling, who added that she had been thinking about divorce for fifteen years.
