Last June, Zaho created a surprise by revealing on stage, during a concert in Montreal, his already well-rounded belly. At 44, Naïm’s mother announced her second pregnancy, the fruit of her love affair with her husband Florent Mothe. The singer arrived on stage with a big down jacket and took it off at the right time to reveal a tight red bodysuit which left no room for doubt. On Instagram, she posted a photo under which she simply wrote: “Surprise !”. She then said things clearly to her audience, specifying that she was waiting “a little brother or sister for Naïm”, his eldest born in 2018.
The singer creates a surprise
Zaho has never hidden her desire to expand her family as she confided in an interview with Purepeople. “There is desire. Afterwards, we have to deal with the reality of things. Now, I am very happy to have my son. If this is what destiny has in store for us, I am already very fulfilled and very delighted” , she assured, speaking of her first pregnancy as “one of the best periods of well-being in the last ten years”. And to reveal her rapid weight loss after giving birth for the first time. “People are going to hate me. I gave birth and while giving birth, I lost 7 kilos. I had gained 11 kilos. I didn’t have much left to lose, so I just didn’t do anything.” she confided.
Zaho’s most Christmas present
It was last September that Zaho and her husband Florent Mothe announced the birth of their second child, without revealing his sex and first name. The artist of Algerian origin then posted the photo of his hands holding his baby’s little feet. In the caption, she wrote: “Hello you.” Rather discreet about her private life, she revealed during a recent concert the first name of her second child, a little boy named Haroun. Active on Instagram, the Canadian published rare family photos during the end-of-year holidays. “My greatest gift”, she commented.
In the photos, we can see Florent Mothe holding Haroun, and Zaho, who opted for a Christmas sweater by Lidl and a Santa hat, holding Naïm. Other photos completed this publication including a beautiful snapshot of the couple who is usually modest about their life. On the last slide, we see a video of the parents with their baby who we can hear laughing. Zaho then says: “We’re like crazy if you laugh”. A sweet moment which pleased the many fans of the singer who commented on her publication with great kindness.
