At the same time as the arrival of 2025, RENOIR will welcome its guests to its redesigned space. What this gastronomic address offers: breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. The dishes served invite everyone to rediscover the art of French cuisine.

Having been an institution on the Montreal culinary scene for 22 years, RENOIR has long been revered for its fine French cuisine that fuses local Quebec ingredients with international flavors, telling the story of Montreal’s vibrant culture.

True to its name, the restaurant is distinguished by its ability to combine the visual and culinary arts, with each dish a masterful creation that seduces both the eye and the palate.

With a modernized space that reminds us of the traditions and innovations between and Quebec, RENOIR elevates its culinary experience while maintaining its long-standing commitment to gastronomic excellence.

Led by Executive Chef Olivier Perret, Master Chef of France, “Maple Ambassador” and Air France Signature Chef for Canada since 2023, RENOIR will continue to offer the refined French cuisine for which it is known.

On the menu, guests will be able to indulge in beloved classics such as Foie Gras Torchon with homemade brioche and Salmon Gravlax with caviar, as well as new offerings. We think, for example, of homemade cavatelli with smoked artichoke, a risotto with truffles and porcini mushrooms, as well as a veal shoulder gratin with morels and local cheese.

In addition to these tasty dishes, guests will have the chance to taste desserts prepared by Pastry Chef Paul Peyrat.

“After more than 11 years at RENOIR, I am delighted to continue offering Montrealers and travelers a refined and delicious experience, now with a modern touch. RENOIR has always been synonymous with the authenticity of French gastronomy, enhanced by a distinct influence from Quebec. Through my cuisine, I will continue to highlight local producers and local ingredients while remaining faithful to French culinary traditions. This project is very close to our hearts, and we can’t wait to share it with our guests! » declares Executive Chef Olivier Perret.

Designed by award-winning firm 2pir Design, the new interior space will reflect a modern and luxurious style, as well as showcasing a neutral color palette. We will find rich shades of blue, which will pay homage to the cultural connection between France and Quebec. The interaction of light and shadow, inspired by the Impressionist movement, will add a bit of contemporary flavor to the restaurant.
