DIn the fiction category, the Commission examined for the advance on receipts (before and after production) 5 feature films, 3 short films, 50 feature film projects, 4 short film projects, 5 documentary projects and 10 projects for the contribution to the writing of the scenario, indicates the CCM press release.
In the category of documentaries on Saharawi Hassani culture, history and space, the Commission examined one documentary candidate for advance on receipts after production and 20 candidate projects for advance on receipts before production.
At the end of its deliberations, the commission decided to grant, in the fiction film category, an advance on receipts (after production) in the amount of 600,000 dirhams to the feature film Bro presented by the company Marrakech Tactics and directed by Mansour Mellali, and to grant the same amount to the feature film Taxi Bied 2 The Convoy presented by the company Razane Nour Films and directed by Moncef Malzi.
Likewise, an amount of 500,000 dirhams was granted to the feature film Kanbghik… Talaqni presented by the company Camelia Prod and directed by Driss Roukhe, while an amount of 100,000 dirhams was granted to the short film Ashmara et Ombre presented by the company Cinemars Films and directed by Driss Mouana, as well as the short film Clowny’s Mama presented by the company Yandiss Productions and directed by Manal Ghoua.
3.2 million dirhams for Ismael El Iraki and Maryam Touzani
Regarding the advance on receipts before production, the Commission granted an amount of 3.2 million dirhams to the feature film project The sons of the she-wolf presented by the company Kasbah Films and which will be directed by Ismael El Maoula El Iraki from his own screenplay.
The same amount was granted to the feature film project Malaga Street presented by the company Ali’n Productions and which will be directed by Maryam Touzani, based on her own screenplay.
The Commission also decided to grant 2.5 million dirhams to the feature film project Batty presented by the company Yaz Image and which will be directed by Mohamed Raouf Sebbahi from his own screenplay, while an amount of 2.1 million dirhams is granted to the feature film project Boutidinit presented by the company G. Films and which will be directed by El Ghali Graimiche, based on his own screenplay.
Also, the Commission decided to grant an amount of 150,000 dirhams to the short film project Once upon a time 1986 presented by the company Iffilms Production and which will be directed by Mohamed Ali Benkirane from his own screenplay.
The same amount was granted to the short film project Cupid presented by the company Laboratoires cinematographies et technologies which will be directed by Marouane Khayyari from his own screenplay.
As for the contribution to screenwriting, the Commission decided to grant 100,000 dirhams to the feature film writing project Shehrazade’s birds presented by the company Oneiris Animation based on the script of Sofia El Khyari.
Asmae El Moudir will release a documentary
Likewise, an amount of 60,000 dirhams was granted to the feature film writing project Resonances presented by the company Mouton Rouge Films based on the screenplay by Chadi Kelai. The same amount was granted to the documentary writing project The sun of others presented by the company Insight Films based on the screenplay by Asmae El Moudir, as well as the documentary writing project Circles presented by the company FB Production based on the screenplay by Faiçal Benaghrou.
Concerning the contribution to the rewriting of the script, an amount of 100,000 dirhams was granted to the documentary project Rihlat Al Majd presented by the company Boostart Production and which will be directed by Lahsen Fareh based on the screenplay by Mohamed Saâd.
The Commission also decided to grant 80,000 dirhams to the feature film project Aicha Ech-channa, the mother of mothers presented by the company Kama 4 Prod and which will be directed by El Houari Ghoubari based on the screenplay by Redouane Tijani. The same amount was granted to the feature film project El Batoul’s hair presented by the company Ajaad Vision and which will be directed by Rachid El Hazmir based on the screenplay by Malika Maâlainine.
For documentaries on Saharawi Hassani culture, history and space, the Commission granted an advance on receipts after production of 400,000 dirhams to the documentary film Al Mouggar presented by the company Fouya Production and directed by Noureddine Agharas.
The Commission also granted an advance on pre-production revenue of 500,000 dirhams to the documentary film project. Atfal Tibgh presented by the company Monafrique Prodcom and which will be directed by Zineb El Achhabe based on the screenplay by Rachid El Mouaden.
Regarding the contribution to the rewriting of the script, an amount of 50,000 dirhams was granted to the documentary film project Rkis Al Bidane presented by the company Naho Multi Services and which will be directed by Aimane Benslimane based on the screenplay by Hassane Yousfi.
The Commission granted the same amount to the documentary film project Chour Lemnabha presented by the company Aya Media and which will be directed by Fatine Khalkhal, based on the screenplay by Hassan Habibi.
