During this first episode, the aspiring academicians will have to charm the public in order to officially enter the competition. 14 candidates will be selected at the end of this talent demonstration. They will then move toAcademy which, for the first time, established its quarters in the metropolis.
This special meeting between the candidates and the public took place at the Videotron Center in Quebec. The Capitale-Nationale is also particularly well represented in this cohort.
Garou, new director ofAcademyhad the pleasure of announcing the good news to the four candidates from the greater Quebec region selected from the 5,000 videos sent to the production team.
Among other things, the singer surprised one of them while he was performing in a bar in Quebec and has already had the chance to jammer with this recruit.
The academy’s teachers also brought good news to different regions of Quebec.
Véronique DiCaire went to Val-d’Or to surprise a hockey player who sings the national anthem himself at the start of his games while Pierre Lapointe took fluorescent blue shooters in Sherbrooke with a candidate from Gatineau.
For her part, Émily Bégin got into a basket to join a candidate from Alma who is studying to become a lineman.
