The presenter victim of a double cardiac arrest
Jean-Pierre Foucault has always been there to host his shows which have become unmissable events for viewers. But the host was forced to put the brakes on his career. The reason? His state of health.
Indeed, in April 2023, the presenter suffered a double cardiac arrest getting off the plane at Marignane airport near Marseille. Quickly taken care of by the firefighters, the host was subsequently transferred to the North Hospital in order to undergo an operation. This is how Jean-Pierre Foucault was placed in intensive care.

This cardiac incident marked Jean-Pierre Foucault. Moreover, during an interview with Ciné Télé Revue, the 77-year-old presenter did not hesitate to return to this terrible period. “At the time, I wasn't afraid, because I felt good”, he confided.
Subsequently, Evelyne Jarre’s husband continued by declaring: “The cardiologist who arrived before the ambulance injected me with morphine. When the firefighter massaged me, I asked him: 'What are you doing? I'm sleeping!' And he told me I wasn't sleeping.” However, the host confided that he had not suffered. “I experienced this curious incident where you feel yourself leaving and I wasn't too bad. Although I'm glad to be back”, he clarified.
“I was remarkably well looked after”
After his double cardiac arrest, Jean-Pierre Foucault underwent rehabilitation sessions for three weeks at the Léon Bérard hospital. Personalized care that put the 77-year-old presenter back on his feet. “I was remarkably well looked after in Marseille. And I live again like before!”, he confided. The presenter had not also hidden his joy at having “lived a year off”. “It's still beautiful”.
Following this incident, Jean-Pierre Foucault did not give up. Indeed, the latter decided to take his revenge on life and show everyone that he was fully recovered. As a result, he has launched a series of new projects to the delight of his fans.
