As with SmackDown last Friday, WWE was taping two RAW shows this week to give time off before the holiday season.
Indeed, following the WWE RAW show on December 16, the WWE cameras remained open to record the RAW show on December 23, 2024, a Christmas special which will be broadcast at its usual time slot. Here are the spoilers for the show.
– Drew McIntyre opens the show to do a promo. McIntyre gives an update on his feud with Sami Zayn and everything he’s done for the fans. McIntyre only claims to tell the truth and follow his beliefs. McIntyre is interrupted by Sami Zayn. The two exchange a few sentences and the fight breaks out. Jey Uso arrives to help Sami Zayn and chase McIntyre out of the ring.
Intercontinental Tournament – First round
Sky (who replaces Kairi Sane) bat Alba Fyre and Natalya.
– We present a new backstage segment between Alpha Academy, R-Truth and Pete Dunne.
– We present a video of the Netflix press conference.
Singles Match
Chad Gable defeats Akira Tozawa by submission
– After the fight, Gable refuses to stop the submission, but Otis intervenes.
Singles Match
Damian Priest wins against Dominik Mysterio. Priest attacks Santa JD McDonagh during the match.
– After the fight, Judgment Day manages to take control of Priest and attack him.
Singles Match
Dexter Lumis defeated Miz by disqualification after interference from the Final Testament.
– After the fight, the Wyatt Sicks arrive to save Lumis.
– Kofi Kingston and Xaiver Woods enter the ring for a promo. They criticize the commentators for also siding with Big E. Kofi Kingston takes the opportunity to introduce his mother in the front row as they are in their hometown. Kofi Kingston’s mother decides to disown him.
Singles Match
Drew McIntyre bat Sami Zayn.
– After the fight, the Bloodline enters the ring. McIntyre leaves the ring. Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga start beating Zayn. Jey Uso arrives to help, but he too is knocked to the mat by the Bloodline. The show ends like this.
