Tele-Leisure : How did you participate in the Star Academy 2024 ?
Maia: I was contacted on Instagram and I have no idea how they found me because I don't post much, it even seems to me that it was a private account at the time so I don't know at all how I was spotted. I was so surprised that people were interested in my profile that when I was told that it was the casting director of the Star AcademyI replied “no I don't believe you, call me I think it's a fake account”. I immediately told myself that I could see myself doing the show 1000%. I had already done a bit of scene and I know that I feel so good on stage, it's the place where I feel the most like myself in the world.
Did the adventure allow you to clarify your professional project?
Yes, it has already confirmed my desire to make music in my life. I have tested a lot of musical universes, I have understood what I like and what I don't like, but I think I still have to define in which universe I want to evolve. I know roughly what mix of styles I see myself in, but I'm going to try lots of things.
What is your best bonus memory?
It was when Nikos Aliagas told me that I was going to do the tour, I really didn't expect it, I was filled with positive emotions. I wanted to believe it but I told myself that leaving was a possible option.

After your elimination, did you expect to see Noah arrive?
I knew that I would inevitably meet him afterwards with the others, but no, I didn't expect to see him on stage.
Were you uncomfortable or surprised by Michael Goldman's remark that he told you “If you have a child together, he will have a broken voice?”
No, Michael's remark made me laugh a lot, we just had a lot of laughs about it. But with Noah we are not a couplewe get along very well. We have great times together but we are not together. I found out about the rumors on the way out but it amuses us more than anything else. It doesn't bother us at all that people question us.
How did you experience life in community for two months?
I don't have too much trouble with community life, last semester I was on Erasmus in Athens, I lived with seven people all the time in shared accommodation, so I was already a little used to it. I like seeing people's faces when they wake up.
The students get together a lot to do live performances or covers, will we be able to find you in projects like that?
Of course ! We haven't discussed it too much between us yet, but we plan to continue collaborating together, our musical collaboration doesn't stop at Star Academy !
