Historic attendance record for this small cinema in the Oise, but its prices will increase

“We broke all our records! » It’s a year that ends brilliantly for the Clermontois cinema, a small city cinema located in the heart of Clermontin the Oise.

After a year 2023 that was already very prolific in terms of attendance, the Clermont screening room broke its year-round attendance record, with more than 32,000 entries recorded in 2024.

The best attendance in its history

That is more than two thousand than last year but above all more than in 1985, the year which was for a long time the most prolific for this cinema with 30,600 admissions, after its opening in 1984. It is now 2024 which will remain in the annals for this establishment!

The fruit of a “varied” programming and demanding” with films in original version (VO) or even short films. But above all box office successes “accessible to all”, like A little something extra d’Artus which made nearly 2,000 entries to Clermont or Vice-Versa 2environ 1 500.

A cinema, supported by the community of communes of Clermontois, which welcomes many schools in the surrounding area, with 12,119 children welcomed this year spread over 198 screenings.

Experiments and prices slightly increased in 2025

To try to do even better in 2025, the Clermontois cinema will test several new features: such as the creation of a additional session on Sundaya open to the public on Monday to now be open 7 days a week, or the creation of new slots for schools.

But this success will require an increase in prices from 1^is January 2025. The place in full price will increase from €6.50 to €7.50the reduced rate from €5 to €6 and the place for under 14s from €4 to €5.
