Between tradition and music, Bénac celebrates Christmas and the end of the year with warmth and conviviality…
Before going to sleep for the winter, some “Encantats” will celebrate the end of year holidays with the installation of a nativity scene in the porch of the small Romanesque church of Bénac. This nativity scene, visible from December 16 to January 15, 2025, will enrich the end-of-year festivities.
On Sunday, December 29 at 6 p.m., the Bénac festival committee is organizing a classical music concert in the church, exceptionally heated for the occasion.
The Les Arabesques ensemble, made up of a flautist, a guitarist-pianist and a bass clarinetist from Normandy, will offer a program mixing classical works, film music and compositions by Astor Piazzolla.
Already known in Ariège for a mini-tour in 2013 with the Vexin Normand choir, notably during a concert at the Château de Bénac, in Saint-Volusien and in Tarascon, this ensemble promises to end the year in a musical atmosphere, full of joy and friendship.
Entrance is free for this moment of sharing, with free participation in the form of a donation, and the traditional glass of friendship will be offered at the end of the concert.
