There was a crowd this Wednesday, once night fell, on the esplanade of Caen town hall. Since December 1st, the public has come to discover the surprise that the Town Hall has in store for them, transformed into a giant Advent calendar. And the surprise had been somewhat revealed during the day, starting with the surprise itself which, on social networks, had announced that “This evening I will be in front of another window. The people of Caen, do you know what I’m talking about?”
It was 6 p.m. when the 11th window opened revealing the long (2m04) silhouette of Joseph Kamel. “This is the first time I’ve been to a box on the Advent calendar and I’m very, very happy to be here. Please make some noise for our city“, told the crowd the singer who arrived with his parents in Caen at the age of 13.
