Driving school owner, but also painter, Rémy Bouscaren exhibits until January 15, at the Lisanna restaurant, in Saint-Génès-des-Mourgues, between Montpellier and Lunel.
At the head of the eponymous driving school, Montpellier resident Rémy Bouscaren is also a painter. His works, signed Bous. k, can be discovered at the Lisanna restaurant, on the Cafés map, in Saint-Géniès-des-Mourgues, until January 15. The opening takes place this Wednesday, December 11 from 6:30 p.m., accompanied by a wine tasting.
Passion for painting and bullfighting
In this exhibition entitled “Au pays des Bousca”, Rémy Bouscaren expresses, among other things, his passion for bullfighting culture. It also presents a tribute to the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. “My taste for painting dates back to adolescence. It is linked to my first emotions when faced with artists who fascinated me,” he confided on the occasion of his first exhibition at the O’Petit Trinque Fougasse wine bar, boulevard Ledru-Rollin in Montpellier, in 2022.
Painting in oil, with a knife, on wood, fabric and other supports: around twenty of his works can be discovered through this new project.
