The Harmonie Saint-Éloi de Saint-Juéry offers an end-of-year concert at the Saint-Georges church in Saint-Juéry le Haut on Sunday, December 15 at 3:30 p.m. For the occasion, the church will be heated and free entry with free participation. This year, the harmony will have the joy of sharing this event with the Double Croche mixed choir of La Fouillade.

A beautiful and long friendship has been forged over the years with this Aveyron vocal ensemble which was directed by the late Patrick Couffignal, the former conductor of the Harmonie. Since then, numerous exchanges and concerts have been organized and it was quite natural that the idea of ​​this shared performance for the end of the year in Saint-Juéry was born. The concert will take place in two distinct parts, firstly the Double Croche mixed choir led by their choir director Alain Deleurence who will perform Ameno from the group Era, Ave Verum by Mozart, le lion est mort ce soir by Henri Salvador. The second part will be provided by the Harmonie Saint-Eloi under the baton of Jean Coutal, former trumpeter and conductor of this ensemble in the 80s and who has resumed his prerogatives as conductor since his return to Tarn in January 2024 The musicians will perform La Dama del Vento, Vento dell’est, Classical Fantasy, Adagio Veneziano, Glasnost, Anitschka. For the finale, several pieces performed together between the harmony and Double Croche pieces, Conquest of paradise by Vangelis, Hegoak by Etchegoyen, l’Immortela by Nadau and O Fortuna by Carmina Burana. An appropriate song will close this concert with the participation of the public.
