Forced rest for Léa Salamé and her “What an era!” teams. An unmissable Saturday evening event on 2, the current affairs talk show will not be broadcast on November 30 and December 7 for two very distinct reasons. As they decided to cancel the broadcasts of “N' Forget the Lyrics”, the managers of France Télévisions also had to make room on the schedule for the traditional Telethon by canceling the new number of What an era! scheduled for this Saturday. Instead, viewers will continue their evening in the company of Nagui and Sophie Davant, but also of Mika, sponsor of this 38th edition of the charity event. The start of this marathon was given on Friday at 6:45 p.m., with the special program “Together, building a treatment”, followed by thirty hours of varied programs with calls for donations, sporting performances and of course testimonies from researchers and of families.

“What a time!” back on December 14 on France 2

On December 7, another event will prevent Léa Salamé and Christophe Dechavanne from debating with their guests. France 2 will indeed broadcast the opening ceremony of the Notre-Dame de cathedral, of which it is the exclusive broadcaster. To celebrate the rebirth of this emblematic monument, ravaged by flames in April 2019, French and international artists (Clara Luciani, Garou, Vianney, the Chinese pianist Lang Lang…) will meet in the heart of the Île de la Cité to perform timeless classic works but also more current titles inspired by this historical moment. A concert which will also feature the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra.

The faithful of “What a time!” will therefore have to wait until the following Saturday, December 14, to get their dose of confrontations of points of view with the personalities of the moment. In just a few months, Laurent Ruquier's successor managed to make the Saturday evening slot a real event with her talk show. This crazy success is confirmed during this third season, 1.41 million faithful (i.e. 23.5% audience share) resisting Morpheus' call on November 16 to stay up until the end of the night. A double record.
