Quinté+ of Thursday November 28: Analysis and decryption of the reference race

We chose for this Quinté+ the following reference race (Friday October 25 – Zosma Prize – 2100m GP) in which two competitors were in the running and meet again this Thursday (Destiny Di Poggio et Heartbeat Thunder).

Last kilometer -> last 500m

Destiny Di Poggio took the lead at the bottom of the descent and didn’t let go. The climb is carried out on the foot of 1’10”-1’12”.

Heartbeat Thunder is well within the peloton, on a fourth line on the rope side. Tracking gives him provisional seventh place at the last kilometer post.

Last kilometer tracking: Destiny Di Poggio 1’11”4 (4th best partial) – Heartbeat Thunder 1’11”1 (best partial)

Last 500m -> Finish

Destiny Di Poggio keep your head easily. The timer displays 1’12” in the middle of the turn then 1’08” at the start of the straight. Lightly operated by Jean-Michel Bazireshe achieved easy success.

Heartbeat Thunder did not move in the final turn. He manages to move in front of the starting areas then finds his action 120-130m from the post. His speed at the end of the race is impressive, with great tracking for the last 500 meters (1’09”4).

Tracking last 500m: Destiny Di Poggio 1’10”0 (3rd best partial) – Heartbeat Thunder 1’09”4 (best partial)

Conclusion

Destiny Di Poggio appears to be further downgraded in this Thursday batch. Better, between this reference race and the Quinté+she placed third in the Marcel Laurent Prize (Group 2). Despite this number on the second line, his place is in the favorites column.

Heartbeat Thunder will have to do with a number 15, against 1 at the end of October. Driven “off”, it should end very very quickly. It will also depend on the pace of the race, the longer the race goes, the more he will be able to aim for at least the podium.
