She admits part of the facts. The influencer Kenza Benchrif, alias Poupette Kenza, admitted to having mandated a henchman in the extortion case for which she had been imprisoned, her lawyer Jérémy Kalfon told AFP on Wednesday, November 27. confirming information from Parisianwho devotes an article to his “regrets”. The young woman, aged 24, is pregnant with her third child.

Indicted at the beginning of July for attempted extortion by an organized gang and criminal conspiracy in a case investigated in Rouen, the influencer was placed in pre-trial detention before being released on October 31 and placed under judicial supervision. Justice opened an investigation on February 23, after the complaint filed by two people for an extortion attempt. This couple “was physically threatened by an individual on condition of handing over a sum of 200,000 euros”confirmed the Rouen public prosecutor’s office in July. This man “explained having contacted the victims in order to resolve a financial dispute between them and an ‘influencer’.”

“Madame Benchrif acknowledges having accepted this man’s offer of service, after unsuccessfully resorting to mutual friends and lawyers,” declared Jérémy Kalfon. “If she knew that this man was going to impress her former agent and her husband with his build and the effect of surprise, she never validated the direct or indirect threats of physical violence”he continued. “She said: ‘Indeed, I accepted, I was offered to mandate this guy to go and solve my problem, I accepted, I obviously knew that it would be a bit of pressure (…) But that’s not the case. ‘is not at all what I asked'”, added Jérémy Kalfon.

“If we criticize influencers a lot, we must not forget that, like football players, they are the object of a lot of desire. Many people gravitate around them and claim to have solutions to all their problems in order to gain their good graces in the hope of obtaining money”argued the lawyer. The influencer’s companion, Allan Liehrmann, established in Dubai, returned to on September 23 “to explain oneself to justice”. Arrested at the airport, he was in turn indicted for the same facts and imprisoned.
