The heart of the port of swings at Chez Finette!

Avenue de La Perrière, the bistro Chez Finette remains one of the last emblematic places, viscerally linked to the activity of the fishing and commercial ports of (Morbihan). These musicians, who perform on Friday November 29, 2024 during a film concert in memory of the fishermen, know this well.

It is here that the heart of the port still beats. They play there under the leadership of the Pêcheurs du Monde festival, the Cinémathèque de Bretagne, the Amis du Doe and Marinated Stopovers.

The film presented that evening, with music, is a new and original montage from the archives of the Cinémathèque de Bretagne.

Alain Pichon, its director, looked at length at the fishing sailboats of the 1930s and 1940s, just before motorization and the gradual disappearance of working sails: newfoundlanders, tuna boats, draggers, sardine boats, potfish boats, seaweed boats , sea rescuers… “A film about boats, actions at work and the living conditions of seafarers.”

From the heart to the work

Another event served chilled the next day, Saturday November 30 (from 8 p.m.), a Les Rockers ont du coeur sequence. With two rock groups moving: Moon’s Law and Sounds Of Anarchy in charity concert.

All you have to do is come to Finette’s that evening with a new toy under your arm to enter a bistro revisited as a rock concert hall.

“Béa, the owner of Chez Finette, immediately accepted our proposal, it’s a first here, says Ben-j, guitarist for Sounds of Anarchy. The Rockers Have Heart is a spontaneous and selfless movement of musicians who have only one goal: that all children can have toys at Christmas. All donations will be entrusted to Secours populaire which will ensure the redistribution of toys to children in need. »

The two rock groups, specialists in revisited and supercharged covers, intend to put their heart into the work. The public should do the same and propel Finette into the orbit of Planet Christmas.

Cinema concert Friday November 29 and Rockers have heart, Saturday November 30 from 8 p.m., Chez Finette, 64, avenue de La Perrière in Lorient.
