On social networks, several personalities paid tribute to Nino Vella. The musician, who won the show The Artistdied on July 1 at the age of 31.

This Tuesday, July 2, The Western Mail announced the death of Nino Vella. Aged 31, the musician from Maine-et-Loire died on July 1 at his home in Paris, his father Richard Vella said. Nino Vella became famous thanks to his participation in the show The Artist, which he won alongside Sébastien Rousselet, with whom he formed the group Rouquine. After the release of his second album entitled Mammalslast March, the duo announced a tour for 2025. During his career, Nino Vella has collaborated with many artists such as Mylène Farmer, Eddy de Pretto, Olivia Ruiz, Yannick Noah and Yseult. Today, several of them pay tribute to him.

On Instagram, the publishing company Sony Music Publishing France paid tribute to Nino Vella. “Rossinante and Sony Music Publishing France are deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of our friend Nino Vella, whose talent and virtuosity were matched only by his joy of life and his big smile. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends. May his music continue to accompany us.”we can read in a publication to which several big names of the French music scene reacted. “Nino, I will continue to make your piano resonate in all the halls of France. You remain immense.”commented singer Eddy de Pretto. “Thoughts for all loved ones”reacted rapper Oli from the group BigFlo & Oli. “May your rest be as sweet as you were. My sincere thoughts to the family and loved ones”wrote singer November Ultra.

While Olivia Ruiz shared Sony’s post and added a broken heart emoji, Pierre Garnier, the latest winner of the Star Academyplaced a white heart and a dove on it. “I will miss you very much my friend. A thought for your loved ones and your family”wrote DJ and composer Quentin Mosimann. Nino Vella will be missed by many.
