Despite the vagaries of the weather, the arrival of sunny days is always a good excuse to boost your wardrobe. The trick? Focus on trendy accessories that will brighten up your looks. Accessories in solar hues and textures
On the catwalks, the houses of Roger Vivier, Longchamp and Dries Van Noten put warm tones in the spotlight. Cherry red, poppy, burgundy, then ochre, yellow or orange, without forgetting chocolate. So many colors illuminate our bags, our shoes and more.
In terms of materials, plant fibers remain the summer must-haves. Seen at Giorgio Armani, Hermès and Michael Kors, these classics take the form of tote bags, belts and hats. As for leathers, they too are adorned with twists and details evoking relaxation in the great outdoors.

Organic details
For the summer, brands have taken inspiration from nature. For example, Loewe has created a limited edition “Flamenco Purse Surplus”, a recycled leather bag whose lines echo the seaside. In a mineral spirit, Mango has developed a minaudière with a pearly texture.

Flashes of light
This season, designers are proving that shiny materials are just as suitable for the end-of-year celebrations as they are for the height of summer. Christian Louboutin confirms this by creating sandals with vertiginous heels encrusted with rhinestones. For our low-cost brands, gold and sequins are showing off without any complexes.
