Jordan Bardella and Marine Le Pen respond to the rap song against the RN: “An abjection”

As quickly published, as quickly responded. This Monday evening, about twenty figures of French rap, including Fianso, Akhenaton, and Zola, released a song in which they sharply attacked the National Rally and called for voting in the second round of the legislative elections. Entitled “No pasaran”, Jordan Bardella and the Le Pen family are particularly targeted, in remarks that are not very complimentary.

The president of the far-right party responded on social media. According to him, the song’s “incisive punchlines” are “calls for murder, violent misogynism, crass anti-Semitism and conspiracy theories” and likens the title to “the mental universe of the far left which is increasingly toxic”. The post is accompanied by screenshots of the video clip, showing the punchlines in question: “A blow to these female dogs in heat”, “They’re all Freemasons”, “Jordan you’re dead”.

Marine Le Pen, who was also targeted, also reacted. “The New Popular Front. It makes you want to do it, doesn’t it?”, she snarked at the French left, while the musical project does not relate to any party. “I hope that the public prosecutor will take up this abjection.”

Eric Ciotti, the president of the Republicans who recently allied himself with the RN, denounces a “collection of death threats, misogynistic insults, anti-Semitism and conspiracy theories” and the “culpable complacency of several media outlets towards the vomit released by 22 rappers.”
