After Rignac in 2022, Alvignac in 2023, it is in Miers this year that two exceptional days dedicated to the Telethon will take place on Friday November 29 and Saturday November 30. They are organized by associations and volunteers from the three municipalities. “30 hours of games”, indoors or under heated marquees on the village square, is the challenge chosen this year by the municipality of Miers (board games, card games, pétanque, square boules, flight simulator, board games). cards, etc.).
The complete program includes a whole range of activities. Friday, November 29, at 2 p.m., opening of the games challenge by the children of the Miers school with a giant goose game. The games will then continue all night and on Saturday 30 until 8 p.m. At 6:30 p.m.: registration for the night hike (11 km) with puzzles, for departure at 7 p.m. From 6:30 p.m., an introduction to dance will be supervised by Pascal Delbos, with musical quizzes and ACL music variety and rock groups. At 9:30 p.m., there are games of poker, belote and tarot; and at 10 p.m. a dance evening with DJ Julien.

Saturday November 30, the games challenge continues until 8 p.m. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: photo rally; from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., zumba with Stéphanie, summer dances. At 1:30 p.m.: registration for the 8 km hike with departure at 2 p.m. From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., concert with the Tam-Tam group. At 6 p.m., oenology quiz; at 7 p.m. blind test. At 8:30 p.m., a pot-au-feu meal (soup, stew, cheese, dessert) will be served, upon reservation at 06 52 01 14 27. We will continue with a dancing evening at 10 p.m. with DJ Julien.
Several other activities, makeup, dancing, concerts, etc. are planned during these days. Volunteers will provide on-site catering with soups, pancakes, waffles, oysters, fries, sandwiches and refreshments.
The organizers emphasize that a fishing competition organized in September by the AAPPMA of Gramat at the Salmière source lake and a lottery at the beginning of November organized by Miers at the Samayou space in Alvignac, had already launched the 2024 Telethon.
