Nostalgie radio will entrust the hosting of its Sunday summer evenings to an international star of 80s music: the British Kim Wilde.

Kim Wilde needs no introduction. Launched by the hit “Kids in America”, the British singer was an icon in the 80s. She released hits: “Cambodia”, “You came”, “Keep me hanging on”, “Can’t get enough” and “Les nuits sans Kim Wilde” in a duet with Laurent Voulzy. She has sold more than 32 million albums worldwide.

The 63-year-old artist, who continues to sing, is adding a new string to her bow: radio host. Radio Nostalgie has recruited her to host its Sunday summer evenings. Starting Sunday, July 7, Kim Wilde will host “The Kim Wilde 80’s Show”, between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. Kim Wilde will share her selection of the most significant hits of the 80s for 4 hours.

At the same time, Kim Wilde is embarking on a new European tour throughout the summer. The first date is scheduled for Saturday in Great Britain. No dates are currently scheduled in France. Kim Wilde will then fly to Australia before returning to sing in Europe.

Although she has always continued to sing, Kim Wilde has diversified her activities for many years. She has a career as a horticulturist and has designed many gardens. She has also published books on gardening.

Mother of two children aged 26 and 24, she divorced at the end of 2022 after 26 years of marriage to actor Hal Fowler.
