The In de la Cité Festival is back on Tuesday, July 2, with two Off events. Ask for the program!

This Tuesday, July 2, the Festival de la Cité will be held in three different locations. First, as part of the “In”, Les Italiens de l’Opéra will be on stage at the Jean-Deschamps theater at 9:30 p.m. for a moment of grace. The soloists and stars of the Paris Opera, under the artistic direction of Alessio Carbone, will perform several ballet excerpts. Thus, with elegance, they will go from Venice Carnival has Don Quixote Passing by Romeo and Juliet and will oscillate between academic tradition and creation.

Not far from there, on the Place Marcou side, the group Le Rêve de l’Oiseau will set up shop. People sitting on the terraces of the restaurants on this square will be able to enjoy jazz, rock, Afro and Latin sounds.

Finally, at the Hôtel de Rolland, in the city centre, festival-goers will be able to attend the play for free – as is the case for all the shows at the Off Festival – Funny Mysteryby Dario Fo and Franca Rame. We owe the French adaptation to Toni Cecchinato and Nicole Colchat, from the company La belle équipe.
